1960s Classics 1927 Bentley by Corgi Toys
The 1960s Classics 1927 Bentley ref900 by Corgi Toys from 1964.
Finished in green with a black detachable roof, a white driver figure, number 3 racing number front and rear and silver spoked wheel hubs.
This early model was later renumbered to 9001 and is one of a small but beautifully-designed range of classic vintage cars that Corgi released in the mid-1960s to compete with Matchbox Models Of Yesteryear. Production ceased in 1969 when there was a fire at the Corgi factory and the moulds were lost.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in January 2007 for £56 in the following condition:
This beautiful and hard to find early Corgi model is in absolutely stunning mint perfect condition, not a mark on it, a real beauty, and comes in its rare original early box with slideout display tray which is in superb virtually perfect condition, clean, bright, crisp and strong, and including the original leaflet - very nice indeed!
A very nice example of a small but highly collectable original Corgi range, and a great addition to any collection!
