Buick Riviera Gift Set by Corgi Toys

Buick Riviera with Dolphin Boat, Trailer and Water-Skiing figure Gift Set 31 by Corgi from 1964.
This wonderful Gift Set from Corgi Toys featured:

Buick Riviera car finished in light blue bodywork, as originally released. Later versions of this gift set featured a metallic blue Buick Riviera.
Dolphin Boat finished in blue and white with a driver figure and a red Trailer.
Water-Skiing girl in a red swim suit on red water skis with a nylon tow rope.

The Dolphin Boat and Buick Riviera were also available as individual models from Corgi but when combined to make this gift set were something really special and very rare to find these days.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in May 2006 for £819 in the following condition:
This wonderful and very hard to find set is in absolutely stunning mint perfect condition - the only fault I can find is some slight glue tarnishing to the red and white strip on the boat roof (a common problem!), otherwise this is absolutely immaculate, the best you will find anywhere, and all the extras are there, including both original figures, the original nylon ski rope and the original instructions sheet - very nice indeed!

The set comes in its original box, the inner is virtually mint perfect, crisp, clean, complete and very bright, with virtually no wear at all, while the outer box is showing only the lightest age wear and is also very bright, clean, strong and 100 per cent complete - perhaps the best box inner and outer you will ever find for this rare set!
All in all, an absolutely magnificent complete example of one of Corgi's hardest to find mid-1960s gift sets, and a great addition to any collection!
