Ford Thames Walls Ice Cream Van ref447 by Corgi from 1965.
Finished in light blue and cream bodywork with Walls Ice Cream decals. It featured sliding windows, silver shaped wheel hubs and included an ice cream seller and boy figures. A musical chimes version of this model was also made by Corgi that featured a winding handle to the rear.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in April 2006 for £501 in the following condition:

This beautiful rarely offered model is in superb mint perfect condition, I can’t find a mark on it anywhere, it’s an absolute beauty, and it comes in its equally superb complete original inner and outer box, showing only the lightest age wear - the outer has an original $2.00 toy shop price label on one end flap, the inner is virtually mint with some of the inner wheel slot card ‘punchouts’ still in place - absolutely wonderful!

The set also includes all the original inner packing and leaflets, including the unused decals sheet with all the unapplied stickers still on the backing paper, the instructions leaflet showing how to apply the extra decals and even the original piece of inner white protective card packing, very rarely still found with this model anywhere. Also present is an original Corgi Model Club News leaflet.

This is one of Corgi's best and most highly sought-after ice-cream collectibles from the mid 60s, getting very hard to find in any condition, let alone perfect and with all the extras included - so don't miss out!
