Corgi Ford Tilt Express

This particular model was sold by George's Good Stuff in February 2011 for £150 in the following condition:
This great collector's item is an absolutely superb and very hard to find Corgi Major 1137 Ford Tilt Cab ‘H’ Series With Detachable Trailer, all original model and box, complete with the inner card packing and mechanic figure, from 1965, in deep metallic blue and silver with red trailer base and red Express Service decals, with the more rare silver shaped wheel hubs (this model is usually found with cast hubs).
One of many great vintage Corgi models currently available in our ebay shop... click our logo above or below to go straight there and see the many other great collectables available!

Model condition - pretty much mint perfect, there are one or two very tiny specks to be found in the usual corner/edge spots, but overall this is an outstanding example of this fantastic 1960s heavyweight truck, with the rare silver shaped wheel hubs, superb 9.5/10
Inner display condition - the base card with the wheels slots is showing some wear and tear from the weight of the model, see photos; the upright motorway interchange backdrop is crisp and perfect, with both the two side flaps in place; everything is complete 8.5/10
Box condition - the outer box has kept its shape thanks to the inner protective card, although showing some wear on the corners and end flaps edges, plus a couple of brown ageing spots; overall it is crisp, clean and bright, all flaps and tabs etc present and correct 8.5/10
Extras - original inner card packing is present and correct, as is the original mechanic figure, making this great set complete 10/10
