Smith's Mister Softee Ice Cream Van ref428 by Corgi from 1963.
This wonderfully detailed Corgi model was finished in pale blue and cream paintwork and featured a swivelling ice-cream salesman figure, sliding windows and silver shaped wheel hubs.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in March 2006 for £340 in the following condition:
This beautiful and highly collectable Corgi model is in stunning virtually mint perfect condition, an absolute beauty - there's what looks like a factory 'thin paint' area on one front mudguard edge, but this is barely noticeable, and other than this I can’t find a mark on it anywhere - you're unlikely to find better than this anywhere... I personally haven't handled a better example of this great model in more than five years of buying and selling!
Even better, this fabulous model comes in its absolutely immaculate original box, the best original box I've seen anywhere for this rare item, very crisp, clean, bright and 100 per cent complete, with brilliant strong straight edges - very nice indeed!
