Finished in metallic silver, it featured opening rear doors, coloured Superman decals, a yellow tinted windshield and roof panels.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in October 2006 for £49.99 in the following condition:
This wonderful superhero model is in absolutely stunning perfect mint condition, not a mark on it anywhere, and it comes in its equally superb original colour card window box which is absolutely perfect, unmarked, very crisp, clean, strong and 100 per cent complete, absolutely no crease along the header card at the rear, with perfect cellophane and exactly as you would have found it on the toy shop shelf more than 25 years ago - very nice indeed!
This is an absolutely pristine shop-stock example of the original first issue Superman models released by Corgi in the late 1970s, and doesn't come up for sale very often in this superb condition, so don't let this one pass you by!
