Ready-Mix Concrete Truck by King Size Matchbox

The Ready-Mix Concrete Truck K13a by King Size Matchbox from 1963.
This lovely old construction model was finished in orange and black, with black ridged tyres on silver wheel hubs and came in a yellow and blue picture card box.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in March 2006 for £48.50 in the following condition:
This beautiful first issue early King Size model is in stunning virtually mint perfect condition, showing just a couple of tiny but barely noticeable specks to the rear drum, but overall an absolute stunner - very nice indeed!

It comes in its rare original card box which is showing a little age wear and inner re-attached flaps at one end, but is otherwise very crisp, clean and bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
Overall a marvellous example of the early 1960s Matchbox King Size models, getting hard to find these days, and a wonderful addition to any collection!
