The Mobilgas Petrol Tanker Major Pack M8 by Matchbox Lesney from 1961.
Finished in red with cream and blue decals and grey plastic wheels.

The Major Pack range was later replaced by the King Size range.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in December 2006 for £124 in the following condition:
This beautiful and scarce early Matchbox Major Pack model is in stunning virtually mint perfect condition, other than some light rusting on one axle tip I can't find a mark on it anywhere, it's an absolute beauty, (the rear decal is perfect, too, I just forgot to take a photo of it!) and it comes in its superb original box which is showing only the lightest age wear, very crisp, clean, bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
A fine example from Matchbox's small range of Major Pack models, very rarely offered in this condition, and a wonderful addition to any collection!
