figure (38280; © 1977); "B" variant of the original card, featuring 12 figures. Made in Hong Kong.
Card is generally flat, with glossy surface, and bright ink colors (no fading) -- it's and EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN example with NO creases or 'dings' to note at all on front; there is an 8 mm tear spot at the upper right corner where the price sticker was removed that has been touched up with black marker (and a very small inked spot right above that on the edge) -- there are really NO other flaws to mention on this card. The backside shows a light horz. vein crease right above where the bubble is applied, and a small rub spot to the right of the figure stand, but nothing more; POP circle is intact. Blister bubble is factory-sealed tightly to the card, and crystal CLEAR, with no signs of yellowing; bottom two corner edges can be lifted, but the waffle seal is evident & firm just up from that point; there is a small ding at bottom right corner, where the bubble meets the card, and the footer section has a little malformation from the original heat sealing process -- NO cracks that we can see. Figure looks beautiful -- no noticeable flaws; there is frosting on the head and lightly on the legs
