Ford Consul Classic by Corgi Toys
Ford Consul Classic ref234 by Corgi Toys from 1961.
Based on the not so popular Ford Consul Classic saloon car produced by Ford Motor Company between 1961 and 1964. Ford also produced a two door coupe version of the Classic bearing the first Capri badge. Corgi never produced a model of the more visually appealing Consul Capri although others, such as Vanguards did.
Corgi finished this version of the Ford Classic in cream with a pink roof, it featured a light yellow interior, opening bonnet and silver spun wheel hubs.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in June 2006 for £35.51 in the following condition:
This beautiful and very hard to find Corgi model is in stunning very near mint perfect condition, showing just one small touch-up to a front wing and a couple of other tiny specks, but overall it's a real beauty, one of the best you'll find anywhere, and it comes in its equally superb original box with an original price of 4/8 in pencil on one side, very crisp, clean and bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
