James Bond Aston Martin DB5 by Corgi

James Bond Aston Martin DB5 ref270 by Corgi from 1971.
This classic James Bond Aston was finished in silver with a red interior and a gold front bumper and grille. This model featured red tyre slashers on the rear wheels and revolving number plates along with the other classic features as seen on the Corgi 267 Gold Aston Martin DB5.

This tyre-slasher version in silver originally came out in 1968 in the plastic bubble pack with foldout wings, but this was soon replaced by the packaging that features on this one, identifying it as the third issue of this hugely popular and hard to find movie-related Corgi collectable.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in March 2006 for £280 in the following condition:
This beautiful model is in absolutely stunning mint perfect condition, it looks like it has never been touched, an absolute beauty, one of the best you’ll find anywhere!
All the gadgets - the ejector seat, rear bulletproof shield, swivelling number plates, tyre slashers and front retractable weapons - are working perfectly, and it comes in its near-perfect original complete window box, showing hardly any wear to the box and with the original cellophane still clean and intact - very nice!

Best of all, the model comes with the original secret instructions envelope, which has never been opened and includes the spare ejector seat baddie, secret instructions leaflet, the rare 007 lapel badge still on its original backing paper plus the number plate sticker and backing paper, with all the unused number plates attached.
An absolutely stunning model and box, getting very hard to find in this condition, and a must for any serious Corgi or James Bond collector!
