Land Rover and Ferrari Racing Car Gift Set refGS17 from 1963.
This early gift set featured a red Land Rover ref438 with a yellow interior, cream-coloured rear canopy and silver shaped spun wheels. It included a yellow trailer with a red Ferrari F1 Racing Car ref154.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in October 2006 for £199.99 in the following condition:
All three models are in superb condition - the Land Rover is showing a little wear to the raised edges on the roof and to the rear, the Ferrari is just a side transfer nibble short of perfect, and the trailer is showing just a trace of wear along the ridged edges of the ramps, but overall I'd rate all three of them as in near mint condition - still one of the best examples you'll find anywhere.

They all display beautifully on the inner picture tray, which is all intact, as is the outer box, which is showing a little overall light age wear, but is overall strong and 100 per cent complete, with all flaps present and intact, showing no graffiti or labels of any kind whatsoever - very nice indeed!

Overall a very nice example of a hard to find gift set, and a great addition to any collection!
