This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in January 2007 for £41 in the following condition:
This wonderful and beautifully crafted fire model is showing a few tiny marks, mostly around the bottom of the front bumper area, but is otherwise in superb condition, a very nice example indeed, and it comes in its complete original polystyrene box with card lift off-lid, which is very bright, crisp, clean and 100 per cent original and intact - very nice indeed!
Everything is fully working - the stabilisers and the huge extending boom that made this such a joy to play with as a small child back in the 1960s - and all the firemen figures are present and correct, including the man with the hose in the yellow cage at the end of the boom.
Overall a very nice example indeed of one of Corgi's most ambitious and best-loved models from their golden heyday in the 1960s, and a great addition to any collection.
