The Volkswagen European Police Car ref492 by Corgi Toys from 1966.
Finished in green and white with Polizei door decals. It featured opening bonnet and boot, jewelled headlights, silver shaped wheel hubs and fully-operating rooftop steering.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in January 2007 for £55.55 in the following condition:
This beautiful Corgi model is in absolutely superb virtually mint condition, just a slightly flat rear suspension, otherwise I can't find a mark on it anywhere, it's a real beauty, and it comes in its original box which has a small price label on one picture side, and a small surface tear on one end flap from a removed label, but is overall clean, bright, crisp and strong- very nice indeed!
Also present is an original Corgi Model Club News TV21 leaflet.
A great-looking Corgi model from its golden mid-1960s heyday, and a wonderful addition to any collection!
