25-Pounder Field Gun Set ref697 by Dinky Toys from 1957.
This great military set from Dinky Toys contained three models:

25-Pounder Field Gun ref686
Trailer For Field Gun ref687
Field Artillery Tractor ref688

All these models were finished in military green with ridged rubber tyres.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in October 2006 for £79.99 in the following condition:
All three models in this rare Dinky set are in virtually mint perfect condition - there's a couple of specks on the tractor, one on the centre trailer, and the gun is mint - and they come in their original lift-off lid box which has been taped along one edge to create a hinged effect, but overall crisp and bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
All in all, a marvellous example of one of Dinky's hardest to find military model sets from the 1950s, and a great addition to any collection!
