Dinky Ed Strakers Car from UFO
The Dinky Toys Ed Straker’s Car 352 from the original Gerry Anderson sci-fi TV series UFO from 1971.
This uniquely designed vehicle was finished in gold-plate bodywork with a blue interior. This was a special Dinky model as it featured a fully operating keyless clockwork motor that propelled the car along.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in January 2006 for £127.54 in the following condition:
This beautiful TV-sci fi classic model is in stunning very very near mint perfect condition, just a couple of very tiny specks and the tiniest of rubs to the edge of the raised panel on the roof stop it from being immaculate - a fantastic example of this gorgeous and hard to find sci-fi model!
The keyless clockwork motor is fully working, just press down, pull back and watch it go!
The model comes in its equally superb original box, showing a little light age wear, but otherwise very clean, crisp, bright and all 100 per cent intact - very nice indeed!
Also present and making this rare item complete is the original two-sided instructions sheet (with the instructions translated into several European languages).
All in all a fantastic example of an increasingly hard to find Gerry Anderson sci-fi collectible from the early 1970s, and a wonderful addition to any collection!
