Austin London Taxi by Dinky Toys

Austin London Taxi ref254 by Dinky Toys from 1956.
Finished in yellow and green with a black driver figure and yellow wheel hubs.
The early model released in 1956 featured the two-tone bodywork while the later models produced from 1959 featured all black bodywork.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in May 2006 for £56 in the following condition:
This beautiful and very hard to find Dinky model is in stunning near mint condition, showing just a handful of tiny marks, it’s an absolute beauty, and it comes in its original yellow card box which is showing some age wear but is clean and bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
A marvellous example of one of Dinky’s rarely offered models, not often offered in this fantastic condition, and a great addition to any collection!
