The Dinky Toys Ford Anglia 155 from the 1961-1966 period
This version of the popular Ford Anglia has pale greeny-blue bodywork with a red interior. This model featured fingertip steering and silver cast wheel hubs.

Ford launched the Ford Anglia 105E in 1959 and became an immediate best seller amongst young and old alike. The 105E Anglia's success was partly due to it's daring lines which were influenced to some extent by it's big sisters across the pond in America. The reverse raked rear window was a first for a British car and allowed passengers to sit comfortably in the back seats with plenty of head room. The rear fins were also amongst the largest of any British car which really did give the Anglia the WOW factor.

Ford continued to produce the Ford Anglia until 1967 when it was replaced by the legendary Ford Escort mkI. Ford produced over one million 105E Anglia's over the years, many of which are still running today. The Anglia was used by Police forces across the counrty as patrol cars and competed in many rallies around the world with varying degrees of modification.

This beautiful and rarely offered model is just a couple of very very tiny edge rubs short of perfect, it's an absolute beauty, and comes in its equally superb original yellow card box, showing hardly any wear at all, very crisp, clean, bright and 100 per cent complete - very nice indeed!
One of Dinky's many great English saloon car models from the early 1960s period, this is very rarely found in this fantastic condition, and a superb addition to any collection!
