Gabriel Model T Ford by Dinky Toys

Gabriel Model T Ford ref109 by Dinky Toys from 1969.
This lovely old Ford Model-T model was finished in yellow and black and featured a driver figure, gold detailing and yellow spoked wheels.
Dinky released this model in 1969 as part of Dinky's novelty sci-fi range at the time (along with other more popular items such as Captain Scarlet's vehicles, UFO interceptors, The Prisoner Mini Moke and others) and was based on a Gerry Anderson's TV spy series 'The Secret Service' which unfortunately never actually got broadcast.
This rather limited both the sales and the appeal for this model, and meant it was only on sale for a couple of years before being withdrawn due to poor response.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in June 2006 for £66 in the following condition:
The model and box, outer and inner display tray, are all in absolutely immaculate mint perfect condition - this is exactly as you would have received it when you bought it from the toyshop nearly 40 years ago. The outer box has a faint original pencil price of 10/9 on one side - that's around 55p in present day currency. I'm looking for a little more than that...!
A difficult to find TV collectable item that is a must for any serious collector - don't miss out!
