20-Ton Lorry Mounted 'Coles' Crane by Dinky Supertoys
20-Ton Lorry Mounted 'Coles' Crane ref972 by Dinky Supertoys from 1955.
First released in 1955 in yellow and orange with yellow metal wheel hubs and a blue driver figure. It featured a fully operating crane with cord string and hook.

This particular model was sold on ebay by George's Good Stuff in June 2006 for £118.50 in the following condition:
This beautiful model is in absolutely superb virtually mint perfect condition - about all I can find are just a couple of very very slight and barely noticeable age blemishes, but most would rate this mint perfect, it's an absolute beauty, and has obviously never been played with over the years!
It comes in its equally superb crisp, strong and bright 100 per cent original and complete blue and white 'Supertoys' box, with all the original inner card packing intact (base tray and model protective piece), and a date stamp on the inside of the lid (E D 455) showing this to be a very first issue model from 1955.
Also present is a tiny original factory inspection tag reading 'Tested by M 24'.
Overall an absolutely fantastic model and box, yet another George's Good Stuff classic on offer to the serious collector!
