Revell Lotus Cortina Massimo Vezzoni

Based on Ford's most iconic rally car of the 1960's, the Revell Lotus Cortina really brings the rally spirit to the slot racing world.

Ford Released the Lotus Cortina in 1963 and quickly became one of the fastest selling sports car of the time. The power plant was based on the 1,499cc Ford engine block with twin overhead camshaft cylinder head developed by Lotus. The body shell incorporated lightweight aluminium doors, bonnet and boot lid. Further modifications that contributed to the Cortina's phenominal success included lightweight aluminium suspension.

Revell rereleased the Lotus Cortina based on the model released in the 1960's which included the toned down police car. Along with this highly detailed Massimo Vezzoni model, a red Alan Mann livery model was also released.
