The Old Toy Guide

Windsurfing

We'll add a brief history of windsurfing here in due course.

The main idea of this section is to provide a nostalgic memory trip for the seasoned windsurfer.
Unfortunately windsurfing equipment doesn't hold a great deal of value as it gets older, it just gets in the way but it is amusing looking back at those funny shaped boards and rigs we used to venture out onto the wild waters with.
However, be warned that it can bring you down to earth a bit when you realise that your first board is now classed as a 'vintage' windurfer!

We've added a Windsurfing section to the Old Toy Guide because it is a Big Boys Toy. These Toys are easier for most of us to remember as we didn't start buying them until we were in our teens. I gave my first board away many years ago but I do still have my first ever short board - a Bic Metal Rock!
