This is a very rare model - very rarely, something happened on the production line in 1937 and a very, very few examples have turned up (I have only ever heard of two or three) like this one. It has a 24h body with the 'Bentley' radiator, still held in place by both its aged lugs but it has the 36 chassis (with the slots cast in for the tinplate driver/passenger figures of the saloon versions. One each of the axle lugs at the front and rear are missing but the axle ends show that the model has never been dismantled. Please don't think of 'restoring' it because that would lose its provenance and authenticity. This is a charming and remarkable mistake. I doubt you will ever see another one like it. It is completely original in every way.
